Patching Policy?

What if…I want to check two things in the patching policy so I can do the following:

Make sure a computer only reboots when a user is not on the machine

Force a popup that gives the person 5 tries to accept before a reboot

and reboots weekly every 7 days?

It seems I can only apply 1 policy?

    @pmccoy You can apply more than one Patch Management and IT Automation Policy. You can apply at the Client, Folder, or PC level.

    You can, but they don't all apply, only the one closest to the agent applies.
    I wish you could actually apply multiple, that would be great.

    Precedence:
    Agent > Folder\Site > Client\Location

    1 - Create Configuration policy to reboot only when no user is connected on the machine and for the pop-up 5 times before force a reboot.

    Apply that configuration policy to that agent, or folder.

    2 - Create an Automation profile to schedule a reboot every week. Apply again to agent or folder.

    I agree with the prior helpful comments others have offered you. To comment on each of your specific items, I will add:

    1. Make sure a computer only reboots when a user is not on the machine
      1. This can be done in a configuration policy to "Disable auto-restart with logged-on users"
    2. Force a popup that gives the person 5 tries to accept before a reboot
      1. This can be done in a configuration policy by "Allow end users to control device restarts"
    3. reboots weekly every 7 days?
      1. This can be done in an automation policy whose only task is to reboot and schedule it for every 7 days.
