Stay ahead of threats with Atera’s Patch Management Dashboard

Your IT environment is constantly evolving, and keeping it secure means staying on top of patch deployments. That’s where Atera’s Patch Management Dashboard comes in—giving you a quick, clear view of your patching status, failed installations, and the severity of vulnerabilities. Let’s dive into two key dashboard elements that help you reduce risks and ensure successful patching.
Failed patches: Troubleshoot and take action
Even the most well-planned patching strategy can encounter failed installations. The good news? Atera makes it easy to spot and fix them before they become security gaps.
🔎 Identify failed patches at a glance: Head to Patch Management > OS Patches > Failed Patches, where you can quickly see which patches didn’t install successfully.
💡Get detailed failure feedback: Click on the Devices column to see which devices experienced a failure. Hover over the information icon in the Installation Status column to view the error code, description, and recommended mitigation steps.
🔄 Reinstall patches seamlessly: After troubleshooting, simply select the affected devices and reinstall the patch in just a few clicks. No guesswork, no hassle—just efficient patch management.
👉 Note: Patch failure feedback is currently available for Windows devices only.
CVE and CVSS: Prioritize patching with confidence
Not all patches are created equal. Some address minor bugs, while others fix critical vulnerabilities. That’s where the CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) and CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System) ratings come in, helping you prioritize security patches effectively.
📌 Quickly assess risk levels: View CVE and CVSS ratings in the Available Patches, Installed Patches, and Failed Patches tabs.
⚠️ Understand severity at a glance:
- Critical (9.0-10.0): Immediate action required—major security risk!
- High (7.0-8.9): Significant threat—patch ASAP.
- Medium (4.0-6.9): Worth addressing soon.
- Low (0.1-3.9): Minimal impact, but still worth tracking.
- None: No issues detected.
🔗 Gain deeper insights: Click on a CVE number to be redirected to the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) for detailed information, including exploitability and mitigation steps.
👉 Note: CVE and CVSS information is available for Windows devices only, with CVSS ratings calculated using the CVSS 3.1 standard.

Hi there, I do like the new Patch Management - however, the main filter keeps on resetting. In device view the filters stay on the last set value, which is great. And you can create quick filters.
However, on Patch Management - this keeps on resetting on refresh or back to the page. This makes the process very time consuming as the filters keep having to be changed back, over and over.
Can this be fixed?
Thanks!
