HP Raid Monitoring

Getting ready to start monitoring some HP servers specifically ML 30 and ML110. They are using a HPE raid controller and just curious how people have been monitoring those. Typically with the Intel server I have monitored we just monitored for event log entries that were created by the raid controller. Does that work here or do we need to take a different approach? Thanks any input would be great.

@BDubIT I think the best way is to monitor storage controler from HPE iLO.
iLO could be monitored by usign SNMP. And you'll find some SNMP template in the shared librairy into Atera.
AI Copilot can help to add some OID on SNMP devices easily.

But you're right, in addition to iLO you can add events logs monitoring.

@Samuel MONIER Forgive my ignorance with SNMP here. I looked in the shared script library and don't find any snmp related scripts. What is the specific need for the script? I have found the OID for the raid controller via copilot. Thanks!

Went ahead with an SNMP deployment after some figuring out and this solution is working. Thanks for the input,
