Update to our Terms of Service agreement

Hey gang,

We recently sent out an email that our ToS have been updated. I've received great feedback that you'd like to be informed of what the changes were.

I've expressed this with our product marketing and legal team, and both were understanding and quickly shared with me the explanations, which were initially posted in the r/Atera subreddit.
For this round, here you go--

In order for you to easily understand what is changing from the current version of our Terms, below is an overview of the changes:

  • We have included information about professional services that you can purchase which shall be subject to our professional services addendum;
  • Within the the term and termination section we have added a clarification that if you have purchased an annual subscription, you must provide us with notice of non-renewal at least 60 days prior to the end of your current subscription term. Please note that this change will not affect your existing subscription terms and will only apply to your next subscription term.
  • We have updated the Intellectual Property section in the Terms to provide more clarity around ownership rights.
