Script Based Custom Fields

Hi,

I saw the monitor post and thought it might be of use for anyone that has enviroments that don't have intune or a domain. https://pastebin.com/SagmQXLy Due to the custom fields has to read it from a location it creates the password in an xml format and once it gets that item it deletes the file.

I'm trying to think of other options for this, it would be great to have custom fields using scripts in all the parts i.e. Customer then we can do MX Record checks and if we can see it's say a 365 or some other service we could have it document what kind of service they have.

This is a fantastic idea. Maybe not having an agent-based custom field, but customer-based custom-field which can be filled by a script executed from Atera. (agent independent)

    Thanks :)

Also if anyone uses TheGreenBow VPN IPSec https://pastebin.com/M6qEgtGV This will grab the license key and pop it in

    Hi,

If anyone needs memory info for the custom field

    https://pastebin.com/4JHiwUW6

it does display a bit funky on the custom field

It does give the info you might require.

@atera @gilgi Not sure if this is something that can be brough to the devs but could we maybe add multi line capability to this feature. When i run it via the powershell console it looks nicer

    Just an idea :)

I'll be 100% honest with you, I rarely talk with the devs outside of lunch breaks and the occasional ping pong battle.
I either alert big stuff with the leadership level of the R&D team, or through the Product managers as the facilitators of any feature.

That being said, any request can be made through the user request portal (link in the 'Resources' tab), and if you do make it share it back here for people to upvote.

I do understand what you're asking for, and the amazing value of what you contributed, so a big WELL DONE KING! :D
I'll share it internally as well ofc.
