Dear Atera Community,

We want to address recent concerns regarding post censorship and moderation on Reddit. We value and welcome all feedback, and we appreciate your candid and honest opinions, both here and elsewhere.

It's essential for us to be responsive, especially when support is needed.

We want to clarify that we have no intention of censoring your feedback, and there has been no change in our policy. As you can see in our Reddit as well as our Community here, there is both positive and negative feedback, which we take seriously to improve our Product and support.

Over the past few weeks, we've observed that many of your posts went directly to the spam folder on Reddit, while others appeared in the general queue. It's important to note that these posts were tagged and removed by Reddit, due to "mature content" filters by Reddit, and not by our administrators. Upon review, we approved all posts.

Transparency is crucial to us, and you can see in the screenshot below from Reddit that nearly three times as many posts were automatically flagged as spam and removed by Reddit, than the ones that we got to see and approve from our end.

We're unsure why so many of your posts were flagged as "mature content" and removed automatically by Reddit, but we're taking this matter with Reddit.

To mitigate such occurrences and other issues beyond our control, we've established our own Community on a different platform (here!!!) where posts won't be subject to removal or flagging as spam.

We are actively addressing this issue with our Reddit Account Executives to understand why these posts were flagged and to ensure it doesn't happen in the future.

We appreciate your vigilance in bringing this matter to our attention, and are happy to have you as part of our Community here :)

Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
