Not sure if anyone else is getting this, I have 4 different customers where the server freezes and has to be forced off and on again. one is a 2016 server and the others are 2019. When the servers freeze if I send a ctrl alt del eventually a message comes up saying that an application has become unresponsive, press end task or wait. Trying either option does not do anything. I managed to restart one of the servers in safe mode and when I logged in I get the message below. There is nothing out of the ordinary in the event logs and google search adds -link to th end of the error and then comes back with Microsoft store errors.

I am in the process of removing the latest updates on these servers but it is very slow trying to do this a sometimes the servers freeze

I have see servers freeze up when virtual memory runs low or runs out. Win Server 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2019 with either a stand alone or a Hyper-V set up, its the same. In some cases, if I add additional physical memory, the problem seems to resolve itself.

Hi, its not a memory problem, the servers have been running fine for over 2 years. The hyperv server has plenty of free ram and each server has plenty free as well.

We have resolved the issue. It was a problem with Eset AV version 9 updating to version 10 and failing due to the AV being the workstation version of the AV
