Hi everyone,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

As we wrap up the year, I wanted to say a genuine thank you for being here - asking sharp questions, sharing edge cases, and pushing us to make the product (and the Community) better.

Quick context: it’s only been a couple of months since I took over the Community, so I’m still learning the patterns and pain points. The good news is: I’m already seeing a lot of opportunities to make this space more engaging and more useful in 2026.

A few quick highlights before we all disappear into the land of food, family, and “I’ll just check one more notification”:

A few things that are changing / improving

  • More clarity, less guesswork: Making it easier to find the “real answer” (not a vague one) when troubleshooting.
  • More practical examples: More step-by-step guidance and real-world configurations (this is already happening). Tell me if the level of detail in my responses is helpful and what to improve.
  • Faster loops from Community → Product: Closing the gap between what you report here and what gets surfaced internally.

What I’ve been doing behind the scenes (so you don’t have to)

  • UserVoice: Triaging, tagging, and pushing for clarity so the right context gets in front of the Product team (and yes - some ideas have already made their way into Atera's 2026 Product Strategy).
  • Technical answers: When you raise an issue, I aim for “here’s how it works + what to do next,” especially when it’s nuanced.
  • Knowledge Base: I have built and implemented an internal process to spot-check and refresh articles that need attention. Your findings are welcome too - and we’re exploring more interactive ways to elevate KB content (because a picture is worth a thousand words… but an animated clip might be worth even more).

Wishing you a calm end of year - low alert noise, high patch success rates, and zero “it worked yesterday” mysteries. See you in 2026!

PS: We've planned some questionnaires and polls for January so we can get things moving as soon as possible! Please be on a lookout and participate ;)
