Hey everyone 👋
We’re making an important update to the way our Community site works.

Starting now, most of the Atera Community will be gated—meaning you’ll need to log in to view the majority of content and index full site with the search feature.

🌐 What stays public?
The Getting started and Read before posting topics will remain open for everyone to browse freely, and over the next few weeks we will split the 'General' category into seperate, public and members-only topics.
These too will be view-only, without the option to comment.

🔒 Why the change?
This update is all about:

  • Privacy & security – keeping your contributions protected and your experience reliable.
  • Exclusivity – giving Atera users a more tailored, insider space, with feature sneak-peeks and being the first to hear about Atera news.
  • Inclusivity – creating a space just for fellow IT pros who use Atera.

To get the most out of the community, we recommend making sure you're logged in—especially when you're searching, browsing topics, or joining discussions.

➡️ Pro tip: We’ve enabled auto-logout for added security, which means you’ll be automatically signed out once every 30 days. If something looks off or restricted, just double-check that you’re logged in via the top-right corner of the screen.
